The Regulators Baseball Club burst onto the scene as an exciting new addition to the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in 2023. Our aim is not merely to participate but to redefine the summer baseball landscape by providing an innovative platform for college athletes to refine and enhance their skills.

Our thrilling home games unfold on the impeccable turf at Mountain Island Charter School in Mt. Holly, NC, where every hit, pitch, and catch is a spectacle under the sun and stars.

The SCBL, a venerable institution since 1999, encompasses six high-level teams competing in a wooden bat summer baseball league. The league is deftly structured to welcome college players fresh from their spring seasons, with a sensible 100-pitch count for pitchers, riveting weekend doubleheaders, and midweek games that keep the adrenaline flowing. Our season comprises a 42-game regular season schedule, punctuated by an All-Star Game break, and culminating in a high-stakes tournament to determine the league’s champion.

Eligibility extends to college baseball athletes from a broad range of institutions, from NCAA and NAIA accredited universities to junior and community colleges with baseball programs. We pride ourselves on staffing trained coaches and support teams that are committed to the holistic development of each athlete. Our league strictly adheres to NCAA standards, ensuring compliance through the meticulous oversight of our Commissioner, League Officers, and coaching staff.

As for our name, ‘Regulators,’ it’s inspired by the iconic figure Billy the Kid and the stirring intro to Warren G’s classic hit. The name encapsulates our steadfast commitment to championing athletic growth and development, not unlike the way Billy regulated the Old West. We fosters an environment that encourages all athletes, from eager children to seasoned college players, to “Mount Up” and reach their full potential within a vibrant, supportive sports community.
