Regulators Baseball Club 15u National Kicks Off Season In Style

The Regulators Baseball Club 15u National team kicked off their season in style. Playing at Lindsey Nelson Stadium at the University of Tennessee, the boys handled Midland Hester 15u 7 to 3.

When an uncharacteristic error granted Midland Hester 15U an early first-inning lead, our boys held their heads high.

They answered loudly in the top of the second. The good guys hammered home four runs. Logan Featherstone (Mountain Island Charter School, 2025) and Harrison Sheets (William Amos Hough High School, 2026) led the onslaught with an RBI single 2RBI double, respectively.

Pitcher Hunter Goodman (East Rowan High School, 2025) led the Regulators to victory. He limited Midland Hester 15U to a mere two runs on two hits over one, one-third innings, and striking out two. Relief pitchers Featherstone and Jeremiah Golden (Myers Park High School, 2025) stepped in to keep Midland Hester at bay. Golden recorded the last five outs, earning a well-deserved save.

RBC 15U National showcased a potent offense throughout with nine total hits. Golden, Sheets, and Keegan Spach (Liberty Preparatory School, 2026) all had multiple hits for the Regulators. Golden, in particular, had a remarkable day at the plate, going 3-for-3 while scoring two runs. Reed Duckworth (East Lincoln High School, 2026) added two stolen bases to the Regulators’ prowess. Overall, the team took everything that wasn’t nailed down with five steals on the day.

Despite their best efforts, Midland Hester 15U could not match the Regulators’ intensity, with Emerson Ross leading their side with two hits in three at-bats.

The Regulators Baseball Club National 15U displayed why they are one of the top 15U teams in the country. They reminded everyone what the HEAT ethos – Hustle, Effort, Attitude, Teamwork – truly represents on the field.

They are back in action today versus Diamond 2026 at 1:30 PM.
