Regulators 13U Black Win Two to Earn 3 Seed in Knoxville

In an adrenaline-filled day, our RBC Regulators Baseball Club Black 13U team clinched a thrilling 10-7 victory over GBG Southeast 13U followed by a 16-3 drubbing of the Knox Sox 13u on Saturday.

The Regulators showcased their undying spirit by clinching the wins, even after a surprise surge of five runs from GBG Southeast 13U in the fourth inning of the first game. This was only a temporary setback, however.

Our resilient Regulators roared back in the fourth, smashing home six runs that ultimately secured their win.

In the game, Dylan Wignot went 2 for 3 from the leadoff spot while Devin Chiu went 3 for 4 while driving in 3 runs.

In the second game, Dylan Wignot crossed the plate four times (to make a total of six scored on the day), and drove in two runs, while Grayson Broadway went 2 for 2 at the plate with 4 RBIs. Hudson Reece also collected two hits in the game.

Other stars at the plate on the day included Tyler Davis, who had 4 RBIs. Wignot and Cole Teal stole six and four bases, respectively.

Overall, our Regulators’ bats were hot, racking up 19 hits on the day.

From the mound, the Regulators used seven total pitchers and gave up three hits on the day. Tyler Wright led the day, striking out two in 1.2 innings pitched.

Indeed, the RBC Regulators Baseball Club Black 13U showcased why they are the team to watch this season!

They enter Sunday’s bracket play as the 3 seed. It’s time for them to do what Regulators do and mount up!
