Harrison Sheets is Strong on the Mound in Tough Day for the 15u National Team

In a tough matchup Saturday, the RBC Regulators National 15U, led by a strong performance from Harrison Sheets, showed grit and resilience but ultimately came up short in a 9-6 defeat to Diamond 2026.  Diamond 2026 managed to string together a number of successful plays in the first inning before Sheets came on to shut them down.

Diamond 2026’s success was largely attributed to key plays, including a single by Travis Brummitt JR, walks by Colten Collier and Hayden Sanders, a regrettable error on our side, a wild pitch during JJ Caudill’s at-bat, a groundout by Talyn Hurd, and a single by Parker Blankenship.

Yet, even in defeat, the tenacious Regulators outclassed Diamond 2026 in hits, racking up eight to their five, proving that they were down but not out.

Our boys played hard, with Gavin Heaberlin (East Lincoln High School, 2026) and Evan Hogg (Southlake Christian Academy, 2026) each accumulating multiple hits. Showing their prowess at the plate, Hogg and Heaberlin led the team with two hits each, embodying the Regulators’ fighting spirit.

Harrison Sheets (William Amos Hough High School, 2026) came in to relieve and shut down Diamond 2026. He allowed zero runs, with 1 walk, 4 hits, and 3 strikeouts over 5 and 2/3 innings of work.

Even though the game didn’t go as planned, the RBC Regulators National 15U never lost their heart. Each setback is just a setup for a comeback. We’re looking forward to seeing what our Regulators will do next.
